Welcome to Yuinart

The art form is 40,000 years old but the inspiration is drawn from many sources. The spirit is authentically indigenous while the perspective is contemporary urban Australian. The artist is unique in vision and expression. Where the traditional meets today, Yuinart is created.

Yuinart

Yuinart: The creation
Yuinart encompasses the unique creations of visionary Australian Aboriginal artist, Lloyd Nolan Hornsby. A Koori (New South Wales aboriginal) descendant of the Yuin people, Lloyd Nolan Hornsby is unique as a contemporary indigenous Australian artist. Yuinart is unlike any Australian aboriginal art you will ever see. The word Yuin means "two waters" and the significance of "twin" or "double" influences extends into every aspect of Yuinart. It is, at heart, the meeting of two worlds.

The inspiration: The two worlds
Yuinart is a distinctive fusion of technique and influences - urbanized contemporary indigenous art. Combining traditional Aboriginal dot painting with visions of contemporary Australian life and landscapes, Yuinart transcends conventions and barriers to capture and express modern culture through an authentic, millennia-old medium.

It is this singular style and vision that gained Yuinart interest and regard from galleries, cultural exchanges, interior designers and architects from across Australia and around the globe. 123
